About Lindy
Lindy Bingham is an independent Southern California blues artist who has been developing her musical style since her youngest days listening to her parents’ perform live.  By 17 she was the sax player and youngest member of an original band that gained local notoriety and had radio airplay.  She continued growing musically by singing, playing sax, and keyboards with many bands through the years and performing all musical styles from rock-n-roll to jazz.
She has recorded and performed with international artist Chris Thompson (Manfred Mann’s Earth Band, SAS Band, Night), appearing on several of his CD releases as backup vocalist and recording saxophone on his single “Farmyard,” and later appearing in the music video for the song as well.
While fronting her own original blues band, Lindy joined forces with award winning country-rock band R Buckle Road, recording and touring with the group on saxophone and background vocals.
More recently, returning to blues she has appeared regularly with the Rick Berthod Band, opening for headlining acts Rod Piazza, Coco Montoya, Guitar Shorty, Savoy Brown, Les Dudek, Rick Estrin & The Nightcats, to name a few, and sharing the stage with artists such as PJ Barth,
Barry Levenson,  Jeff Chaz, LaMonte DeMille McKinnon, and late blues legend Charlie "Tuna" Dennis.
Currently, Lindy is working on originals for her next recording project, and she continues to participate in various recording projects and performances, the most recent of which was as a special guest on stage with Chris Thompson and Mads Eriksen Band.
